I bought these to shoot out of my H-D military, expecting to probably have to cycle the action manually. Lo and behold, these cycle it just fine themselves! Filled me with child-like glee! Will buy again!

The CCI SUB - SONIC H.P. is extremely accurate from my Ruger American Heavy Barrel bolt action rifle. 1/4 to 1/2 inch 5 shot groups from the bench are the norm at 50 yards. There is no fragmentation on impact so the full energy of the all lead hollow point distributes all its energy within small game. This is my go to small game rimfire ammo in the North Idaho Panhandle. Kills are instantaneous with broadside chest shots out to 75 yards. With solid hits squirrels and rabbits go down in place. The perfect pest/small game ammo. Significantly more quite than the CCI Mini Mag and other high speed stuff. That said, we have always come to expect nothing short of excellence from CCI ammo.
