Maxi-Mag® Segmented HP uses the exclusive polymer bullet coating to greatly reduce copper and lead fouling in the barrel — without leaving a residue. Its Segmented Hollow Point splits into three equal-size pieces on impact, tripling the number of wound channels. The polymer coating allows this separation at much lower velocities and longer distances than a conventional copper jacket. The bullet's overall geometry is optimized for accuracy, and dependable CCI® priming and propellant provide flawless cycling through semi-automatics and all 22 WMR firearms.

These make ALL other 22WMR Obsolete!!!
If anyone has experience small game hunting with the original / segmented 22LR CCI Stingers you would already know the explosive shock and "energy dump" transfer from a segmenting projectile.
These segmented 22WMR rounds have :
Higher bullet weight than average...
High Velocity for the weight via the friction/pressure lowering bullet coating...
Maximum ft/lbs of energy via the higher weight and same speed as fast 40gr rounds. 46gr of better velocity combined with explosive segmentation energy dump on impact...
...and all with a cleaner barrel...
Absolute best 22WMR round for hunting....!!
Side note: most 22WMR bullets don't reliably expand at their 100 yard velocities.. test it for yourself...these are like grenades...
